Mexican feather grass
Dense, perennial tussock up to 70 cm. Numerous, tightly rolled (needle like) leaves, minutely roughened, to about 60 cm long. Flowering stems to 70 cm with 2-3 nodes. Flowers on the top 15-25 cm of stem. Seed 2-3 mm long with 45-90 mm awn. Has been offered for sale in the past.
