Can I get chemicals and equipment if I want to spray weeds on my roadside?
Yes, South Gippsland Shire and South Gippsland Landcare Network run a roadside weed assistance program on shire managed roads.

After eliminating my roadside weeds, can I replant with native trees?
Yes, the South Gippsland Shire will provide you with local species to plant on your shire roadside. See attachment on the right.
Is Fireweed a weed?
No, in South Gippsland Fireweed is a local native species often confused with Ragwort. There is also a similar plant in NSW called Fireweed that is a noxious weed just to confuse matters. To see the local Fireweed see Not-a-weed in the identification section.
